RELEASE 0.13.6 - 2023-08-03

Major features

Radio control

  • Update Hamlib to version 4.5 and fix Hamlib issues with rig power ON/OFF handling

  • Indicate when a rig is actually powered off if the rig supports it via Hamlib (many recent Yaesu and Kenwood rigs do this) and add Power on button to the notification

  • Improve error message when rig control is failing, which could be because the rig is powered off, but does not support indicating it (like Icom rigs)

Major features

  • RF spectrum scope and waterfall display to visualize band activity

    • Only for Icom SDR transceiver models currently: IC-7300, IC-9700, IC-7610, IC-7850/IC-7851, IC-705

    • Includes features, such as adjusting of scope bandwidth, scope signal level

    • Allows adjusting VFO frequency by clicking the waterfall display

  • Support for shared user of station (e.g. club stations) - only for CLUB licenses

    • Each operator has a personal user account to access Web Radio Control

    • User roles with permissions: ADMIN_USER, POWER_USER, TRANSMIT, RECEIVE, PASSIVE

    • POWER_USER role (power user) has more control and can manage reservations for other users

User interface

  • Fix errors about PulseAudio backend for audio transfer not being available

Major features

  • Web Radio Control SD-card image supports Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (in addition to the older Pi 3 models)

    • The new image is based on the most recent Raspbian Buster Linux distribution

  • Radio and rotator control and meters work normally when using wrc-proxy Hamlib proxy application with external applications. This makes it possible to monitor radio meters and change radio settings in Web Radio Control while working digital modes with applications, such as WSJT-X or fldigi!
